Chainsaw Man follows Denji, a young man burdened by his father's debt who earns a meager living killing devils alongside his pet devil, Pochita. After being betrayed and killed, Pochita merges with his heart, allowing Denji to transform into Chainsaw Man by pulling a cord on his chest. He is then recruited by a government organization of devil hunters.
